The ads served by Yahoo! is contextual & covers a wide range of business categories. And since Yahoo! serves the ads, the publishers will be able to control, monitor & earn from Yahoo! & do not have to maintain any direct relationship with the individual advertisers.

The process works very similar to any other web page. Each of the PDF documents have to be uploaded onto the Yahoo! website where the page will be analyzed by an Adobe program to identify the contents. Then ads from Yahoo! will be matched up contextually to the content & displayed on specific locations (on side or on top).

Publishers can choose to accept or reject ads & set preference for specific categories. This is designed to prevent competitive ads from showing up.
